EGM Status
EGM is a private educational institute incorporated in Quebec according to the laws pertaining to companies.
The Montreal School of Gemmology is recognized by the internationally renowned Gem-A (Gemmological Association of Great Britain) as an Allied Teaching Centre. As such EGM has the right to offer preparatory classes for students studying to write the Gem-A exams and earn the coveted title of FGA (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain).
EGM also enjoys close ties and associations with the following institutes and organizations:
We are accredited as a private teaching establishment by the Minister of Revenue and as such are authorized to issue receipts for tax purposes for both provincial and federal tax returns.
